A gaming console that warms chicken?
You may have seen an announcement by KFC last year in June 2020 for the KFConsole, a gaming console with a chicken chamber–all in one.
Did you think it was fake?
I thought it was as well, and forgot about it over time, until December 2020, where they announced it was actually real, and revealed what it entails. Many people were shocked, including me. I was dumbfounded and researched it for more information.
1. The KFConsole has its own website where the specs were revealed.
It runs 240 fps, has ray tracing, virtual reality, 4K-TV gaming, and it has two Seagate SSDs. This means this is another console besides PlayStation 4 that has virtual reality. Xbox needs to step up their game–this is strike two for them! Strike one was when they didn’t have any interesting launch titles.
2. It’s powered by the Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element
It also has a swap feature with their graphics card which basically means it may be one of the most powerful consoles available in a long time. Another cool thing is that it also seems like it runs PC games, which is new for a console.
But that’s not all. Let’s talk about what really makes it unique!
3. Like I mentioned previously, it has a chicken chamber that works somewhat like an air fryer.
In their words, “Utilizing the systems natural heat and airflow system, you can now focus on your gameplay and enjoy hot, crispy chicken between rounds.” What I thought sounded crazy, actually makes a lot of sense. Food and gaming combined? I can’t think of a better combo.
In my opinion, that’s finger-licking good!
To summarize, it’s a powerful console by KFC Gaming that runs PC games and warms chicken. If you like gaming and having some hot, crispy chicken to eat with it, then this console is for you. Just try not to get your controller or keyboard and mouse greasy!
